Our products are selected for everyday dining, home use, gatherings, takeout, travel, and practical tableware needs. We understand that sometimes an item may not be exactly what you expected, or an issue may occur during shipping. This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, replacements, and order concerns are handled.

Return Eligibility

We accept return requests within 30 days of the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • The item must be returned with its original packaging when possible.
  • The item must not show signs of wear, food contact, damage caused by improper use, or intentional alteration.
  • The item must include all pieces, accessories, or included components originally shipped with the product.
  • Proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or order number, must be provided.

Because our products are related to dining and tableware use, we may be unable to accept returns of items that have been used, washed, opened in a way that compromises hygiene, or exposed to food.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, and quality reasons, certain items may not be eligible for return. These may include:

  • Used chopsticks or dining utensils.
  • Opened disposable chopsticks or individually wrapped chopsticks if the packaging has been broken.
  • Items that have been washed, soaked, stained, scratched, or damaged after delivery.
  • Items damaged due to improper cleaning, storage, or use.
  • Final sale items, clearance items, or promotional items marked as non-returnable.
  • Gift cards, if offered.
  • Items returned without prior approval.

Once we receive your request, our support team will review it and provide instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning an item. BambooChopsticks.store is not responsible for returned packages that are lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

If your return is approved due to our error, such as receiving the wrong item or a damaged product, we may provide return instructions, a replacement, or another suitable solution depending on the situation.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We carefully aim to provide reliable products and proper packaging. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please email us at support@BambooChopsticks.store within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Photos of the product.
  • Photos of the packaging, if the package appears damaged.
  • Photos of the shipping label, if needed.

After reviewing your claim, we may offer a replacement, refund, partial refund, store credit, or other resolution based on the condition and availability of the item.

Refund Process

Once your approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the refund status.

If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow several business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement or payment account. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Shipping fees, handling fees, and other non-product charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We may offer exchanges when inventory is available. If you would like to exchange an item for another style, quantity, or product type, please contact us first.

If the replacement item costs more than the original item, you may need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we may refund the difference or provide store credit, depending on the case.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@BambooChopsticks.store.

We will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has already been processed, packed, or shipped. If your order has shipped, you may need to follow the return process after receiving it.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned to us because of an incorrect address provided at checkout, additional shipping fees may apply. Refunds for refused or undeliverable packages may exclude original shipping costs and any return shipping charges.

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

Product Care Responsibility

Natural bamboo, wood, and reusable dining items may require proper care. Some products should not be placed in microwaves, dishwashers, direct sunlight, bleach, or high-temperature environments unless clearly stated as safe.

Refunds may not be available for damage caused by improper use, improper cleaning, soaking, heat exposure, or failure to follow product care guidance.
